To keep your administration simple, Tilaa consolidates all your services onto a single monthly invoice. This article explains how our billing cycle works and how we calculate charges for new services.
1. The Billing Cycle
Unlike some providers that send a separate invoice for every server, Tilaa aligns all your products to a single billing date. This usually corresponds to the day of the month you became a customer.
This means you receive exactly one invoice per month, regardless of how many VPSs or Add-ons you have running.
2. Pro-Rata Calculations (New Purchases)
Because we use a fixed billing date, ordering a new service in the middle of a cycle requires a "Pro-rata" calculation. This ensures you only pay for the days you actually used the service.
When you add a new service, you are charged immediately for the period starting from the purchase date up to your next scheduled invoice date.
Example Scenario
- Your fixed invoice date: The 15th of every month.
- New order date: You buy a new VPS on the 20th of April.
The Calculation:
Instead of paying for a full month immediately, your first invoice for this new VPS will only cover the period from April 20th to May 15th (approx. 25 days).
From May 15th onwards, the new VPS is added to your standard monthly invoice for the full price.
3. Managing your Payment Details
To ensure seamless renewals, please keep your payment methods up to date.
- Log in to the Financial Section of the dashboard.
- Check if your credit card or PayPal details are still valid.
- Download historical invoices for your administration.
