Yes, you are allowed to host IRC (Internet Relay Chat) servers or bouncers (BNC) on the Tilaa platform.
However, similar to game servers, IRC networks are frequent targets for DDoS attacks and botnet activity. Therefore, we enforce a strict policy to protect our network integrity.
Strict DDoS Policy (Null-routing):
Tilaa prioritizes the stability of the entire network over individual servers.
If your IRC server becomes the target of a DDoS attack that impacts our infrastructure, we will immediately null-route (block) your IP address.
This blocking happens automatically and without prior warning to prevent network congestion for other customers.

Prohibited Activities
While a standard chat server is allowed, please note that using IRC for the following is strictly prohibited and will lead to immediate account termination:
- Hosting Botnet Command & Control (C&C) servers.
- Coordinating illegal activities or cyberattacks.
