At Tilaa, we respect your privacy and autonomy. As an unmanaged hosting provider, we do not proactively monitor or access the operating system or files inside your VPS.
Default Access (Initial Setup)
When your server is first deployed, a random root/administrator password is generated by our system.
Theoretically, a strictly limited number of senior engineers could retrieve this initial password from the secure database for troubleshooting deployment issues. However, internal policies strictly forbid accessing customer servers without explicit permission.
After changing your password
We strongly recommend changing your root/administrator password immediately after your first login.
Total Privacy:
Once you change the password inside your Operating System, Tilaa loses all access to your server. We do not have a "backdoor" or a master key. You are the sole owner of the system.

What if I need Support?
If you encounter a technical issue and require our support team to investigate inside your server:
- If you changed the password: You will need to provide us with the current credentials (or create a temporary support user) specifically for that ticket.
- If you locked yourself out: Since we don't have backend access, we cannot reset the password for you inside the OS. You would need to use the Rescue Mode or Single User Mode to reset it yourself.
