The reason why you see an Intel Core 2 Duo processor has to do with the virtualization layer. The virtualization software that Tilaa uses recognizes the Intel Westmere and Sandy Bridge processors as Intel Core 2 Duo processors. This does not affect the speed or the performance of the processors.
