Does Tilaa Block Ports or Services?

No, Tilaa does not block any ports or services by default. However, as a measure to prevent spam abuse, we do implement a temporary block on the SMTP port (port 25) for the first 8 hours after your VPS is created.

After this initial 8-hour period, our firewall will be automatically updated to allow outgoing traffic on port 25, and you will be able to use it for sending emails. If you need to use port 25 before the 8-hour blockage is lifted, please contact our support team at support@tilaa.com and provide a valid reason for requesting the blockage to be removed.

Please note that we take spam prevention seriously, and removal of the blockage will only be considered if you can provide a legitimate reason for needing access to port 25 during this initial period. Our support team will review your request and respond accordingly.
