How can I log in to my server?

Using the website:
For Linux and FreeBSD users, Tilaa offers a video display. It can be helpful to directly connect through the website if you have a firewall or network problem on your server. The communication runs through the serial port and is, therefore, accessible at all times.

Directly:
For Windows users, the remote desktop is on as the standard setting. You can connect by starting up the remote desktop application (start → run → mstsc ) and then connecting to your server’s IP address. The login name is ‘Administrator’ and the password can be found in the Tilaa service menu. For Linux and FreeBSD users, SSH is enabled on the default port (22). The login name is ‘root’ and the password can be found in the Tilaa service menu.

Please note that the password is obscured but will be shown when you hover over your password with the mouse pointer.

If you want to connect via SSH from a Windows computer you can use Putty. You can find a tutorial here: http://internal.math.arizona.edu/services/computing/remote-access/shell/putty
